Diagnostic description: 

Among Oriental species of Meoneura, the new species resembles Meoneura vikhrevi Ozerov which also has one pair of epandrial processes only, but its surstylus is hooklike
in lateral view (see: Ozerov, 2011: 3, fig. 4). Besides, M. thaica is characterized by the absence of dorsocentral setae, and M. vikhrevi has one pair of dorsocentral setae.
