3 dc; halter yellow; anterior margin of frons yellow.

Taxon biology:

Larvae develop in bird's nests, carrion and fungi and were collected on pig faeces (Collin 1930, Carles-Tolrá 1992, Hackman & Meinander 1979, Nordberg 1936).

Distribution:

widespread in Europe
