Biology:Adults have been collected on Angelica-flowers, carrion, salt fish and seeds. Specimens have been reared from snuff and wheat.
Distribution:Palaearctic Region: widesp. (Iceland to China); Nearctic Region: Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Ontario.
